$650 – Gary Fisher – Sugar. Full suspension, carbon rear triangle, Sram X0 and Shimano XT/XTR mixed drivetrain, Rolf Satellite wheelset, Fox rear shock with lockout, Rock Shox SID front. Has Avid V Brakes now, but also has mounts for discs. Medium sized frame.
$175 Pacific Cycles – Ovation. Older road bike with newer 700c Alex DA22 wheelset and new tires. Shimano Exage Groupset. Integrated pump.
These bikes have been checked for functionality but are sold as-is. Prices are firm.

Hello, after a winter break, we are getting ready to start bicycle sales up again. We expect to start accepting appointment requests by mid April. Appointments will be dependent on COVID restrictions. Masks and hand sanitization will be required. We are not able to host DIY hours at this time. If anything changes, we will post updates here.

Goodbye 2020! Hello 2021! We are still around. Just socially distancing, working from homes, getting bikes ready for the spring season. We held our Annual General Meeting both in person (socially distant) and online. We reviewed our annual reports and some key accomplishments from 2020.
We would like to thank CMHA for their continued support. We would not be here without you.
We would also like to thank Uplift Black Youth and their donors for working with us to outfit many enthusiastic youth with bicycles.
We look forward to the spring when we can start getting wheels and wrenches turning again. Unfortunately we are not hosting shop hours due to COVID restrictions and the reduced demand of the winter season. If you do need something, please email us and we can see if we can assist. We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Sunday October 18th at 2pm. Because of social distancing requirements we will be holding the meeting outside at our shop at 134 Anne St South (behind the CMHA building). Please dress for the weather and bring a chair if needed. We are encouraging anyone to attend that would like to become a voting member of Firebird Community Cycle. We are also looking to add some members to our Board of Directors. If you are interested please attend. We will be reviewing our previous years activities, financials, and plans for the upcoming year. Please email us if you require documents in advance.
To make space for new projects we will be having a sale on all kids bicycles with 20 inch wheels or smaller. Pay what you can afford. Appointments are required for viewing. We will be booking in 15 minute sessions so we can try to get as many kids bikes out to people as possible. Please email us to book an appointment. We still have adult bikes available but are still unable to host DIY hours or perform repairs. Keep on riding!
We have had an overwhelming response and are still booking sales appointments. Please email us to book an appointment time. If you end up finding a bike before your appointment or no longer need your appointment, please email us to cancel your appointment so we can move the queue forward.
We also ask that you only stop by if you have an appointment booked. We cannot perform repairs, sell parts, and do not have DIY hours yet. Those will com soon enough once restrictions are relaxed and we can accommodate different services back into the mix.

Due to COVID – 19 we have had to implement a number of procedures to protect our staff, volunteers, and customers. We are back with limited capacity. We are currently only able to support sales and donations, by appointment only. If you are interested in purchasing a bike or making a donation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our best to slot you into an appointment as quickly as possible.
If you are sick, or experiencing any COVID -19 symptoms, please do not come to the shop. We can schedule an appointment when you are healthy.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be expected to use hand sanitizer before touching or testing the bicycles. We do have some at the shop. If you have been to Firebird in the past you will notice some changes. These protocols are to keep you, our staff, and volunteers safe. Please follow the instructions and guidance from them when you are there.
We prefer E-transfer for payment as we have limited cash on hand and are trying to reduce exposure for everyone.
